- Plant Mechanics
- Fitter Machinists (Tomago Only)
- Spray Painters (Tomago Only)
- Auto Electrcians (Tomago Only)
- Boilermakers (Mt Thorley Only)
An Apprenticeship with WesTrac gives you both theoretical and hands-on learning and exposure to a wide range of CAT Machinery as well as business functions. You will develop the skills and knowledge needed to become an expert in your chosen discipline and have the ability to learn from some of the best in the field.
The 2020 intake has vacancies available in the following locations:
Tomago, Mt Thorley (Hunter Valley), Bathurst, Dubbo, Griffith, Wagga Wagga, Casula (Sydney), Tamworth, Grafton & Canberra.

How to Apply:
To be considered for these exciting opportunities you must submit an online application before the closure date. To be eligible you will need to be over 16 years of age by February 2020 and have a driver licence or the ability to arrange travel to and from work each day and to Tomago periodically for training. Mature aged applicants are encouraged to apply.
You will be prompted to upload a current resume, covering letter addressing some criteria and will need to answer a short series of application questions.
Applications close Monday June 24th 5pm AEST. All applicants will be required to complete online skills testing, and shortlisted applicants will be required to attend a Testing Day in Tomago in mid-August. Offers for successful candidates will be finalised in early September and employment will commence early February 2020. You will be kept informed about the status of your application via email.
