First Class Machinists – Tomago

About the role

Our state of the art facility in Tomago currently has positions available within our Machining and Reclamation business for experienced Machinists, CNC & Manual Lathe and Mill operators, Cylindrical Grinder operators, Crankshaft Grinder Operators ,Rottler Cylinder Block Reclamation machine operators & HVOF and twin wire arc spray operators.

Our Machine Shop offers a safety focused jobbing shop work environment covering a wide product range whilst working with a growing team of professional Machinists covering a multitude of reclamation procedures & working with state of the art machines and tooling.

The roster is a 50-hour week, working a two-week rotation of day shift, followed by a two-week rotation of afternoon shift.

Key Responsibilities

• • CNC and manual lathes
  • CNC horizontal and vertical borers
  • CNC milling
  • CNC large engine block machining (F107 Rottler Milling machine)
  • Crankshaft grinding
  • Cylindrical grinding
  • General machining 

Skills & Experience

• Qualified 1^st Class Machinist with post trade experience
• Crankshaft or Cylindrical grinder experience
• Metal spray or HVOF coating experience
• CNC vertical borer machining experience
• Self-motivated and ambitious Machinist
• Welder with reclamation experience using submerged arc and bore welders an advantage.
