WesTrac is looking at another incredibly busy 2019 as we continue to be the premiere supplier and maintainer of world class earthmoving equipment within WA.  We have upcoming projects that will require experienced Auto Electricians working for projects around WA’s regional areas.

With our branch based in South Guildford, you will be kept busy working on 8/6 or 2/1 rosters (ex Perth) at a wide range of locations in WA. This positions is full time and permanent, with the opportunity to advance your career with a leading organisation. Your main responsibilities will include carrying out repairs, inspections, fault finding and troubleshooting CAT equipment and the ability to maintain safe work practices

 Essential Criteria: 

• Australian Recognised Auto Electrical Trade Qualification with a minimum of 3 years post trade experience on heavy earthmoving equipment
• Caterpillar product knowledge and maintenance experience
• Previous experience with mining equipment essential
• Previous use of safety and risk assessment tools, such as Job Safety Analysis and Take 5's
• Ability to work successfully within a team, autonomously and unsupervised
• Beginner level computer literacy skills
• Current C Class Licence

Desirable Criteria:

• High Risk, Forklift and Working at Heights (preferable)
• Dogging Ticket
• Basic Riggers Ticket
• Elevated Work Platform
• Heavy Rigid Licence
• Familiarity with service literature
